The Search function returns hits for the entire Bible, regardless of the set Search areas (e.g., a particular book or a section like the Gospels). It doesn't matter if I try to limit the Search to my custom Search areas or if I use the passage that came with the program. I don't know if a Search returns hits for all favorite translations, even if I specify a particular translation.
I've deleted the program from my iPad Air, turned off the tablet, restarted the machine, re-downloaded the program, turned off the machine, and restarted it again -- but the Search function still has the same glitch. I checked, and I am using the current version of Bible!, 5.8.3. My iPad is running iOS 10.1.1, as is my iPhone 5c (same results on my iPhone - glitchy Search).
Help! Am I doing something wrong, or did I find a bug?

Hi Martha - and welcome to the forums
I can see the same problem you are reporting with search ranges.
There was a problem with this in the past and it seems to have returned.

Any idea what this means exactly?

Thanks for the report, I will write up a case. In the future please create a new thread for reporting bugs. Please see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/118697.aspx .

If you uninstall the Bible app and install it again as a new user, you should see improved panels that guide new customers.
