Follow Along Slides

We appreciate the Follow Along slides that encourage people to follow the service by downloading the Faithlife Study Bible or Logos mobile apps. Would it be possible going forward when Faithlife creates these slides to add two text fields (one for the wireless network name and another for the password)? Each local church can decide whether or not they want that information displayed in those fields. This certainly isn't a deal breaker.

Is there any reason for you not to just add custom text fields?

You can add custom fields to your slides by clicking on the "boxed T" icon at the upper-right of your presentation slide. From there, select "Custom" to add a new field to your slide.

We understand that we can add text fields to the slide but if they were already there they would save us the trouble of adding them and placing them in the best possible location for that particular slide.

Our suggestion is something like the Welcome slides. They display the local church name. We don't need to input the church name every time we add that slide to service file. There is a text field already there that automatically inputs the church name and we can quickly move to the next slide. That is what we are suggesting with the wireless network name and password fields. We realize we can add custom text fields to meet our needs but again we are looking to simplify this process so we don't spend the time each week adding them. It certainly isn't something that will push us away from Proclaim if this feature is never added. It's just a "wish list" item.

I think if you name the slide "wifi" and use the "Reuse" feature, you can save some time.
