Verbum Now subscription change

I've been using Logos/Verbum since the early 89's. Today I received an email informing me that the Verbum Now feature will no longer be billed monthly. It will now be billed each year. I asked support what happens to the features from the Verbum Now if I cannot pay the yearly fee. I'm told I lose all the features of Verbum Now.

I'm disappointed in Faithlife.. They offer a great feature and then make a change that gives me 3 weeks to pay $89.99 but tell me it's less expensive overall. Since I cannot do this, I'll just let it expire. But, at least the email thanked me for being a Verbum Now member.

I think this change was mentioned quite a bit over the last few months. I would've liked to see them offer monthly as well, but the 89.99 is still a decent deal. Whereas the full feature set is a lot more pricey. I guess it just depends on your budget.

I'm a Logos Now subscriber. The change occurred a few months ago, and we had plenty of warning, however, the funding (mostly gifting these days) for me does not move as quickly as it once did, so I went about 2 months without the full features.

The strategy that I'm using is to maintain a Logos Now subscription, and work on getting the Full Feature Set throughout the year. This way, if I am not able to resubscribe when the time comes, I will at least have the main features until the next major release.

I received my email yesterday. Must be on the bottom of the list. Like all software, it gets expensive trying to keep updated. My disappointment was mostly  in the late notice for me, but it's not the end of the world. I'll eventually get back to the subscription or get the Full Feature.

I'm not sure myself, but does anyone know if it's possible to use a payment plan with Logos Now (if you add something to the cart taking it over $100)? You wouldn't be able to take it down to $10/month, but if it is possible that would at least spread out the cost a little, PP fees would be countered by lower cost and you'd get an extra permanent resource?

If I recall correctly, Logos Now for a year worked out for cheaper than 12 monthly payments. Wouldn't just sticking a yearly payment on a credit card and taking a few months to pay it off at least work out the same, if not even better, than what the month-to-month plan did?

And Logos Payment Plans beat a typical credit card's interest rate only when the initial purchase runs more than just a few hundred dollars.
