I have found Logos to be an incomparable resource for academic research. Recently, I've been preparing a paper on 'Wrestling with Luther and the Old Testament' and have benefited again from having Luther's Works in Logos, and the wide range of academic books and journals on Luther, together with the search capability.
One of the drawbacks to having Luther's Works in Logos format rather than the paper editions is that the notation giving the corresponding location in the Weimarer Ausgabe (WA) is missing. That set me thinking. Wouldn't it be incredible if Logos could make those original editions available? If I were to dream, as KS4J sometimes does, we'd have the German (or Latin depending which part of his works) edition linked with the English translation and we could scroll down them together side by side. But that is a dream. If the works themselves were made available without that capability, even that would make Logos an indispensable research tool for the academic study of Luther.
In the meantime, perhaps those upgrades to Luther's Works in English translation could be grouped a little more sensibly now that more of them have been made available. For example vols. 67 and 68 could be grouped since they are complementary volumes on Matthew; 75-77 could be grouped, since they are the church Postil volumes.
