We are interested in using a tv in the lobby to play looping announcements. Is there any way to use Proclaim for this?
Hi Kelly, yes Proclaim works well for this. At my church, we have Proclaim running on a Mac mini with all the slides we want in the pre-service loop.
Then our designer updates the slides throughout the week on her own computer, and Proclaim on the Mac Mini automatically syncs the changes. (around every 15 minutes). This way we always have updated slides throughout the church!
As far as getting the signal to all the TV’s (or just one) that will depend on your setup. We have a Digital HD TV tuner that our Mac Mini is connected to. The mac sees this as a secondary monitor.
The tuner then sends a ‘tv channel’ to all our tv’s over coax cable, which is cheap and comes on large spools so you can cut it to the length you need.
Hopefully this helps! let me know if you have more questions

Hi Jordan.
Does this setup allow for the Proclaim software to also be used to project the song service in the sanctuary at the same time? In other words, can two different computers, using the same Proclaim software license, go "on air" simultaneously, while each computer is sending a different set of slides (one for announcements on TVs in a lobby, and the other computer for songs on the projector screen in the sanctuary)?
Thanks,
Joseph
Yup, you can have two presentations On Air at the same time with the same license and presentation group.
Thank you for this answer. I was wondering if 5-7 presentations could all be on air at the same time at the same location. (Sanctuary traditional service, Modern service in another Hall, Kid's service in Kids' theatre, and 2-4 Sunday School teachers who build their presentations in Logos7 with the Sermon Builder). I am just looking around the Proclaim site and am curious about Signals. If multiple presentations are live at the same time how do the phones in my class get the signals from my presentation rather than the signals from one of the other services happening at the same time?) I know in that other Bible app that has a live services option that GPS shows live presentations in your area and the user selects the one they want to "check-in"
