Vyrso Missing Sale
I noticed that the "Prophecy Answer Book" is on sale at multiple retailers but not Vyrso. It is on sale today for $0.99 at Amazon, B&N, iBook, Kobo, CB and Google. Any chance of getting the sale to Vyrso?

These titles for Vyrso are part of that software platform and, therefore, have a different pricing structure. For this reason, Vyrso chooses not to carry the basic EBooks that we offer in deference to their software platform.

I don't think that is right. Vyrso books ARE "basic" eBooks... unless they don't like the limited "value added" parts on THEIR side.

They aren't basic eBooks but rather basic books in Logos proprietary format not eBook format. I suspect they are merely trying to say that the pricing is a matter to take up with Faithlife.

To the contrary: Vyrso books are classified within Logos as type:eBook! The licensing agreements in Vyrso ARE comparable to those in Kobo, Kindle, Nook, CBD, etc. The publisher sets the price, not Faithlife! The problem here is likely that the automated system isn't functioning properly for these titles... which means that someone has to manually adjust them... which isn't happening because Vyrso is just a "hobby."

We only update promos that come directly from the publisher. In this instance we did not receive a price update from the publisher.

Thank you Kyle. I figured that much. What perplexes is me is that they lay some of the blame on you guys in saying you don't carry the right type of book. I hope you guys can work with them for future sales

I noticed today that many HCCP (Zondervan/Nelson) titles are now on sale from Vyrso which were not on sale earlier from Vyrso.
I hope this indicates a better communication happening between the two.

Harper Collins Christian Publishing... I believe they own Zondervan and Nelson but I'd guess if you search for Harper Collins you might find these deals. There are facebook groups that list these deals everyday. Edwin runs one of them

On a side note, I tried searching for Harper and nothing came up in Vyrso so I'd limit your search to Zondervan or Nelson titles and sort with cheapest/lowest first. Look for all of the red prices for sales. Most of these sales are for $3.99 or less

Zondervan/Nelson "sale" prices sometimes show in regular black font without displaying the regular price.
That's what I found in today's sale prices for them.
If you only search by the "savings" filter, you will miss them since they appear as regular prices.

I used to manually scroll through a search for "savings" in a non-fiction list, looking daily for titles that I recognized as new to that list.
I would post those to my Logos Users FB group.
I also have a Kindle Users FB group.
I discovered that it is easier to first see what is available on sale in K format and then check those against their availability in Vyrso.

I look for titles up to 50% off. There are a lot of titles that will never be free or 0.99. After awhile, you start to get a sense of how frequently and how deeply titles will be discounted. That helps know when to make the buy. It works the same way in Logos titles. Having a wish list helps with those. I really wish we had a wish list in Vyrso. It's hard to keep up with the thousands of titles.
During the recent years that I have been monitoring ebook sales, I have noticed some patterns:
1. The number of books being offered for free has dropped greatly. Most are by smaller publishers, more obscure authors.
2. Many major publishers (Zondervan/Nelson) never offer titles for free. David C. Cook had a long pattern of offering at least 1 title for free on Mon/Tues and another title on Thurs/Fri. They no longer are doing that.
3. Most titles that were previously offered for free are now only discounted to 0.99.
4. Some publishers are now beginning to offer month long sale prices, announced on the first of the month.
5. The only way you are able to catch the bargains is to check daily. Many titles are on sale for only 1-3 days. That's why I started posting them.
6. One Kindle source posts the effective dates of the sale. I pass them on when I find them.
7. The Kindle source sites are Amazon Associates who get a tiny fraction of the sale price as a commission on titles purchased from their links. They have to generate a ton of sales to make it worth all the effort to search, compile, organize, and present the info. I just do it because I was already doing for my personal library.
8. I am glad that FaithLife has begun showing interest in Vyrso again. I much prefer having all my ebooks in Logos format.

When you post the 0.99 books, I always click thru to them. I'm glad U post them.
I tried your method of checking books till one gets all the 50% off or greater discount volumes. Lotta work.
I do check the newest of the new everyday. I find this fun, as they are all new.

...and it will not be fruitful in cases where the sales price is the only price given at Vyrso (which happens quite a bit with Zondervan titles) and which don't come at a stated % discount, but still go for say $1.99 as a steal. Using a non-fiction filter ordered by price instead of savings will give those, but you'll still need to wade through a number of pamphlets to get there.
