I certainly hope the Encyclopedia of Christian Education and the Encyclopedia of Christianity in the United States are among those that they are going to do better TOCs for. This is absolutely useless as a TOC for an Encyclopedia. At $350 and $480, respectively, I would expect them to have decent TOCs.

Here, by contrast is the TOC of the ISBE, a Logos edition book which costs a mere $129.99. Now that's what an Encyclopedia TOC should look like.

I get it that Vyrso books are not manually processed. But if that's the case, then these two should not cost so much. This is way more than most Logos edition encyclopedias cost.

I confess that I wouldn't normally pay that much for a single volume digital book no matter how good I thought it might be (these two are $60 and $90 LESS on Kindle, respectively, BTW). But in addition to being a reference book addict, I'm secretly hoping that they'll do one more of George Kurian's encyclopedias that I requested a while back, the Encyclopedia of Christian Literature, because I have an entry in it, and I thought that by buying these two I might be indicating that there is an interest in such things. Silly me. I doubt anybody else has bought them or ever will. Those prices are truly outrageous. I blame the publisher just as much. The hardcover editions are priced like these Vyrso ones.

Thank you Kyle. I'm really looking forward to receiving the updated resources. Especially since most of my Vyrso library I got for free, or 0.99 per book, that's nothing I could take for granted. Customer support might be a bit bumpy at times, but at the end of the day it's usually still awesome!

Pricing and providing free books is really in the hands of the publishers. We can't blame Vyrso for the decline.

Maybe some day there will be lots of free books again, once there's a new generation of readers for whom free books are an effective marketing strategy once again.

For my part, I no longer purchase more books from the same series or author after having received and read a free book (I did that in the past though).

Maybe someone realised the automatic book processor plug had come out from the wall, and it was plugged back in again a month or two ago hence why you percieve more activity recently.

But getting back on topic, I wonder if we will see that massive update soon.

A couple of months ago, I would have agreed that Logos seems to have abandoned Vyrso, but the last month or so has been pretty good. They are pushing out new books almost daily, and there have even been pre-orders for brand new releases. I check Tim Challies Kindle deals daily and always try to see if the deal matches in Vyrso. Last year, the deals were sparse at best and even if they had the book in Vyrso it hardly ever was on sale. Now they are often on sale and I have picked up a lot of great books. Does it need more attention? Definitely, but someone is doing something behind the scenes. I would love to see a wishlist feature though.

Would you be so kind as to fix this one? We do not need all of the page number links. I have encountered this in several Vyrso books in the past, but I was a little surprised as this one was just released about eight months ago.

Thanks Kyle, personally must not own many of the resources updated as I did not see any more updates than normal this week.
