Considering going from ProPresenter to Proclaim
But I have a few questions and wasn't really able to get answers on them so far.
1. When my recordings on SoundFaith end up going over 50 gigs what happens? Is this like vimeo and other services that this is an allotted monthly amount or is this total storage? If it is total storage (wouldn't really make sense but...) do you at that point have to pay more monthly?
2. The Sermon Editor handouts are crazy simple, I export them then open them in Word and then add any graphics etc. Is there a way to upload the PDF or something of that sort or am I stuck with what Logos puts out?
3. Can I use my iPad as a confidence monitor?
Thanks for any help you guys might be able to provide. We used to use Proclaim way back in the day it was released. It was quite buggy but I have heard great things about it lately and with the sermon editor and the ability to just upload all of my info makes it quite appealing. Thanks again.

Hey Chris! Great questions.
1. At the moment, it does not look like we have a concrete answer to this one. Our team is still working to develop a good plan for this.
2. You can export your Sermon handouts by going to Handouts in the Sermon Editor, and then in the top right, Export > And then under Print in the top right, a Print to PDF option should be available. If not, ensure you have a program that allows you to Print to PDF installed, and it will be an option. ( Windows has one built-in). Once done, it'll save the handout as a PDF and allow you to manipulate it as you see it.
3. The Proclaim Remote can be used as both a confidence screen and as a way to control the presentation. It also allows you to view any notes you've added to slides as well.

1. Any idea when this might happen? would hate to be back into this system and then have to exit again because of increasing costs. It is taking a big push for us to get it in the church and don't want to waste the push.
2. I know how to export to PDF but it is such a rudimentary tool (sermon editor). While I love it, what I do is import into word, add a couple of picture to it, add a header and then save as a pdf. MY QUESTION WAS IS THERE ANY WAY TO UPLOAD THAT INTO SOUNDFAITH INSTEAD OF THE SIMPLE TEXT ONE ETC.

1. We've contacted our Proclaim team regarding this, and it looks like we don't have an ETA for a finalized structure. Once one is finished, rest assured it will be published.
2. Thank you for clarifying on this question! I apologize for my confusion. When pushing a sermon editor document directly from the Logos Software to Soundfaith, it goes with the Handout that is created with it. This also populates the "Handout" section of that sermon for it's listing on Soundfaith. If you'd like to add a custom one, you'll want to log in at Soundfaith, go to the sermon you'd like to upload it to, and click on the Edit button. On the edit screen, you can add any other files you'd like to the sermon. Using this you can upload our custom PDFs.

To me, if someone gets to 50gigs of uploaded content, that shows that they have been a very faithful, loyal user that has been paying a subscription price for a long while. Likely several years. To me, subscription pricing is paying your fee for the month, and therefore should be all inclusive for that month.
A new customer pays $20 and can upload 50gigs (or whatever). A loyal customer that has been paying $20 for years has to pay to upload 1 more image?
I would hope that would be taken into account when considering whether to tax the faithful.
I understand that storage isnt free, but a monthly upload limit seems appropriate for a subscription model like Proclaim, and would also ensure it is not abused.
An all-inclusive service for one price, without fear of it suddenly getting more expensive, is one of the benefits of using Proclaim over something like ProPresenter.

that is my view as well. In the regular world of A/C it is always incremental and grows and that is the part of the plan that makes no sense To me. We will see what happens though.
