Verbum Now vs. Logos Now

Is there any advantage of one over the other for Orthodox users? For instance, does Verbum have more resources of the early Church Fathers, or are they both providing access to the same features and resources?

To clarify, I'm aware of some resource differences. This is more a subjective question based on your experiences and opinion between the two, especially those who have had both.

I use both regularly. At least as regards the "libraries," the Verbum libraries are very much centered on Church Fathers, reading the text with Christians throughout history, etc.

As regards the Now packages, Verbum and Logos and Now are quite similar, with almost identical feature sets, so no need to worry there. Just go for the one whose resources you think will best help you. Verbum Now might have the advantage for you of treating the deuterocanonicals as canonical by default (and maybe more resources that include them), although that option can be set in-program as well with Logos Now I believe.

    Father,

You use both Verbum Now and Logos Now?  I think I'm lost.  Can you clarify?

At this point I believe there is little difference between the two in terms of features. I has been said in the future that difference may become more significant as features as added to the Verbum application that are more relevant to users from tradition that choose Verbum as their primary means of accessing their resources. When those sorts of things start happening the difference will be greater.

A comparison of the Full Feature Sets as they currently stand shows little difference: For instance Verbum Full Feature set has access to Images of Saints while Logos Full Feature Set has access to Proclaim Media

The preview resources available each month to the two membership programs to do vary and this is where you might see more of a leaning to ECF fathers material.  Someone who has subscribed to or been following these each month might be able to comment on that specific aspect of the two membership programs. I think for Now this is where the difference will lie between the two.
