Notes document - cannot annotate

In Verbum I can create a "notes" document, highlight text, right click, and select add a note to "the notes document"   It does take me to the document screen for the notes file created, however its does not add the note (in fact, add note is grayed out) and it does not allow me to enter text anywhere.  The highlight shows up in the referenced document with the annotation indicator.    I am working from a personally created document.  When I tested it on a bible, it did  post the highlighted words, but still does not allow me to enter my annotation. ??????  Any help would be appreciated.

Could you post a screen shot (use the paperclip option in the forum post)? I'm not sure I'm understanding what you are seeing.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I figured it out.  Apparently there are different views.  The one that popped up only showed quotes.  I tried to delete my post but had no luck doing so.  Thanks for responding.
