If the beta is open to additional testers, I’d love to get a TestFlight invite. I use Logos on an iPhone X and 12.9” iPad Pro.
I would love to get an invite as well!

I'm on the same devices and would love an invitation.

I do like the new interface with the multiple workspaces. After working in it for a while I have a couple thoughts
1. When in my Bible, sometimes I want to change translations. When I do, the passage also she to the last page used in that translation. I wish that when using change resource the passage would stay where I have been reading.
2. When navigating to a passage, or opening to a specific location in a resource, I wish the title bar would go away automatically. I know what resource I opened, and the passage I chose. The title bar covers the top lines, and tapping to clear it seems unnecessary.
Thank you for your consideration

Thanks for the invite, here are some initial impressions:
Good
- Tabbed interface is fantastic
- Love being able to swipe between them with 1 finger so quickly
- Huge improvement
Suggestions
- Allow vertical split screen for viewing 2 resources side-by-side on the iPad when doing split screen mode for 2 apps, rather than forcing top-bottom split. I use a 2nd app to write in, but even though I have a huge amount of real estate on my 12.9” screen, it forces a much less convenient horizonal split view.
- When typing notes with an external keyboard, the bottom toolbar is covered by the QuickType toolbar.
- Would really like the option to add a 3rd resource for split view on iPad Pro. I think a very common use would be (1) Bible (2) Resource (3) Notes.
- I agree with others about the toolbar appearing. Though it works for Safari, web pages are a different animal, and usually you are wanting to find the back button pretty soon. But with a book, I am not wanting to get out of it that often, especially now that there are tabs.
- Is there a way to set default opening options for opening new links? For instance, this tab, split, or new tab?
- What is the limit to tabs? How does that work? Does opening too many tabs close other tabs?
- Drag and Drop support would be great.
- And, of course, personal books

Love the interface, was just trying to use the block a section and copy it. When I made the initial grab to extent the blocked out section, it tried to let me tab back and forth between screens rather than grabbing the blue dot and extending the block. I agree with others, that a two finger scroll through tabs would be a better user interface.

I'm a long-time user of Logos, a long-time beta-tester of another bible program (which doesn't exist on ios), and just recently added an ipad 10.5 to my iphone 7. Already have TestFlight installed because I'm a beta-tester for a prominent national newspaper. Would love a beta invite from Logos.

I have been playing around with the new beta a bit and like the ability to have the collection of resources open on different "tabs" and the various UI changes.
One of the questions that I can't find discussed here yet is the loss of the ability to move through a resource like we used to be able to. I don't see the horizontal scroll bar with the large round dot that allowed you to quickly scroll through an open resource. It even displayed headers as you moved through. Is there something that I am missing that allows this type of user interaction. The only way I can see to moving through a resource is via the table of contents or scrolling.

Removing the scroll bar was a deliberate design choice that was discussed during early testing.
I forget the exact reasons for removing it - Personally I think it was the wrong decision

Books with nested table of contents:
After expanding an item in the table of contents, if I try to go back to the previous level by tapping the back button in the upper left, or the back button for Android, it takes me back to the book and out of the table of contents. This can be a nuisance when trying to locate a section a user wants to open in a book.

Broken linked panels
When in a bible tab linked with a commentary tab, changing the Bible book (eg. John to Ezekiel), the commentary tab does not change to the proper book in the commentary series (eg. NICNT\NICOT)

I don't believe this has ever worked in the mobile apps so it is probably just that this functionality has not been added

Lookup doesn’t work on non bible resources. Select word, tap Lookup and it flashes the info window briefly before disappearing. I want english dictionary lookup.

The app crashes if you delete a reading plan. If you delete the reading plan from the "Reading Plans" menu, after the app crashes and you reopen the it, the reading plan is not deleted. If you delete the reading plan from the home screen, the app crashes, but the reading plan is removed.

This will be fixed in an imminent beta release. Thanks for reporting!

I'd like an invite as well if you haven't exhausted you 10,000 available! I'm also using an iPhone X. I'm a longtime Logos/Mac/iOS user and have beta tested from early days with Logos on the Mac.
Thank you!

Wow! That was fast. Initial impression...mind blown. This is a game changer. Switching between screens like this will be quite helpful.

“Layouts” may work.

“Layouts” may work.
No it won't! Two reasons:
- It would be a different use of the term "layout" from the way the term is currently used within the FL ecosystem. (FL uses the term "layout" to quasi describe (my concept of) projects.
- FL already uses the term "layout" abnormally (imo). The plain use of the term layout denotes the arrangement of something, likely in some sort of "grid." If we were to use the term "layout" in a plain sense with the current design of the mobile app beta, there could only be "two" layouts: One panel or two. The workspaces/tabs/desktops would either be a "one panel layout" or a "two panel layout." It would simply be wrong to call the tabs/workspaces/desktops "layouts."

Another great feature would be the ability to add a sermon or note to the split panel mode, when you click the drop down menu and choose change resource. It would be nice if you could choose from your documents as well as the library resources, without having to open a new panel/tab/desktop. Also, when in a document give the ability to change the document from the drop down menu, without opening a new panel/tab/desktop.
