Use of Daily Devotionals in Vyrso

No. That is what defines a "logos" edition resource vs. a "vyrso" one. If it were hand tagged (as a devotional), it would be a Logos edition and not an "auto converted" vyrso one.

What you are asking for is a Logos edition resource (with a Logos edition price). There is another option, however:

If the resource has the appropriate headings (it may or may not), you <might> be able to create a reading plan. I have successfully done this with Vyrso resources before. If you are lucky enough, then you can do the following:

• Each daily reading needs to have its own heading.
• Figure out how many other headings there might be (i.e. Title Page, TOC, etc.) 
• Create a reading plan with total number of readings PLUS the ones for the additional headings. (i.e. 365+Title Page, TOC, About the Author, etc.)
• Back date the reading plan to account for the headings before the first real reading. 

If you are lucky, you will end up with a reading plan that has one "reading" for each day as you would expect.

How would you "define" it as such? What would that look like? Manually adding a marker on each and every reading? How would that be easier than what you already did?

Agree. I bought so many of them from Vyrso.

Just for me to understand - what exactly is the benefit you're looking for that a DD would give you / y'all that you are missing from a Reading Plan?

And a second thought: since the automated production process in Vyrso - corresponding to the low markup / revenue Faithlife can take on them - currently precludes the insertion of hundreds of date tags into a resource by Faithlife's text production, what solution are you looking at from Faithlife

• develop an automated run that can insert DD tags into an ePub-based textsource (e.g. finding typical patterns like Day 1, 2, 3, day one, two, three, Jan 1, Jan 2 ... in header-formatted text and replace with code)  
• change the software so that community tags (or comparable feature in Logos) are working like text-internal tags thus allowing community-based tagging plus allow redefinition of the library resource type from monograph to Calendar Devotional
• allow for a volunteer group to perform tagging by exposing text production tool(s), subsequently offering the enhanced file through Vyrso in "real" Logos format
• ... else?

Have you ever tried doing this manually by creating a PB from your vyrso book - did it fulfill your needs from he first question or where not (besides making more effort than just downloading and indexing the book) ?
