Reading Plans disappeared
My reading plans are not on the home page in either the Logos Bible App, or Faithlife Bible App.
I tried turning the apps on and off, restarted phone...
Any ideas?

My reading plans are not on the home page in either the Logos Bible App, or Faithlife Bible App.
I sometimes see this - do they still show up in the "Reading Plans" section of the menu that appears when you tap the three horizontal bars at the bottom right / top left (iOS / Android) of the screen?

Hi Graham, the whole reading plans section is gone. I can find th1e in the logos app under documents, but faithlife Bible does not have it.
By the way are there a lot of differences between the Android and iOS apps, or is the layout similar?

Hi Mike
Sounds strange
Just to clarify I am talking about the section outlined below
This is in the Logos Bible app on my iPad but it is also there for the FSB app (don’t have my phone with me at the moment to check there)
And I don’t use the android app enough to comment on differences but there do seem to be some unexpected - at least to me - ones

Hi Graham. That menu item is not in either Android app
I guess there are differences in the apps. I don't have iOS device. But trying to encourage or church to get and use the app, so I want to be able to help them know how to use it.

Very strange - and I can confirm it is missing on my Android phone. Hopefully this gets picked up and sorted.
To your original question about Reading Plans being missing, are you able to add them back on the homepage by tapping the icon on the right with a calendar and choosing "Bible Reading Plans"?

Hi Graham,. The whole section for reading plans was gone, so not even the calendar button was there. However, this morning it is all back.

HI Graham,
I am trying to get folks in our church to join our Faithlife group, and use the Bible Study app.
I have found it easiest to create a Faithlife account for them, connect the prayer list, and then send them a link to the app with their username and password.
I made a video on basic functions in the app.
Would this work for those using ios devices? Or, do I need to find someone with ios device and make another video?

Hi Mike
Sorry but when I tried to access the video I ended up in a Youtube page asking me to “Create a channel”
Can you put it somewhere more directly accessible?
Graham

Hi Mike
Nice video -good job
In terms of Android / iOS differences it’s really around menus.
Accessing the menu - with groups and prayers etc - is, as you show at the top left of the screen on Android. It is bottom right on iOS. Also some of the Resource menu details are different - particulary in View Settings. So it is worth trying to check an iOS phone with the app to compare. I would at least recognise the difference in the video so people aren’t confused.
One other thing to check more generally. You show the ability to do original langusage word lookup, This won’t work if someone has just bought a Bible and doesn’t have access to the underlying reverse interlinear. Another thing to be aware of.
Hope this helps, Graham

Thank you, Graham. I will try to find an is decide to use.
The search in the faithlife Bible app is only on the, in this case, English word. That is why I posted on another thread about getting the logos Bible app functions in the faithlife app. In logos yo can open a word study based on the original language.
Thank you for all your good help on the forum.
Mike
