Logos on High Sierra
Hey fellow Mac users, I am still on Sierra OS 10.12.6. I was wondering if it is "safe" to upgrade to High Sierra.Wondering if Logos runs great and everything else on the Mac does too on the new update? I usually don't jump in on the first software update immediately. So, I was wondering if I can get some confirmation on that. Thanks in advance!

Can't comment if everything else runs great, but Logos has been fine.

After a family member upgraded a 2011 Mac Mini to macOS 10.13 High Sierra, received text message about Mail showing black text on black background that is hard to read email discussions. Researching internet found changing display profile OR calibration allowed Mail to be usable (until next macOS upgrade where Mail issue repeated).
Personally have a 2011 MacBook Air (MBA) with the same Intel HD Graphics 3000 as 2011 Mac Mini. When needed to upgrade OS X 10.10 Yosemite after Faithlife announcement => Announcement: Dropping support for Mac OSX 10.10 for Logos 7.14 choose macOS 10.12 Sierra instead of macOS 10.13 High Sierra since wanted to keep Mail working. Thankful for more free space on MBA after macOS 10.12 upgrade.
FYI: also dreaming of newer Mac since my 2011 MBA is 7 years old (approaching age for replacement). Prudent to back up internal SSD periodically.

Keith I have MacOS 10.13.3 running on an iMac Retina 5K 27-inch 2017 machine and Logos seems to run fine. I have had no problems with mail or any of the standard Apple programs.
I have MacOS 10.13.2 running on a MacBook Air (11 inch Mid 2012) Normally this runs Logos fine but recently (last 6 months) it has been cutting out due to overheating when the indexing process gets too energetic. However it ran and indexed just fine for quite a lot of years.
I counsel folk to upgrade to the latest MacOS if not immediately then within a couple of days of release because most releases contain upgrades to the security system. If anything untoward happens the cries from users will surface long before 24hours is up. One pays a premium for a Mac silly to waste the advantages by not trusting the company.

I am running an up to date version of High Sierra on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, Early 2015). Logos generally runs with no problems.

I'm running the latest version of High Sierra on a iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, Late 2015) with no problems.

The latest High Sierra (10.13.3) and Logos (7.12) seem to be A-OK on my early 2014 MacBook Air custom ordered with all the extra bling. Zero problems.
Do a Time Machine backup on your Mac before you upgrade, and if things go sideways for you after the upgrade just hold COMMAND + R while booting up and then format your drive with the utilities that eventually show up on the screen. After that, close the disk utility and on the next menu choose Restore From Time Machine Backup. Go make a sandwich.
Macs just work. I hope this helps you.
