The Action Bible on sale!
I just broke my vow never to buy any more graphic novels or children's books on Vyrso, and don't regret it.
The Action Bible is currently on sale for $2.99.

I've seen the hardcover book at my friend's house, so I knew that this book is filled with quality storytelling.
And indeed, the Vyrso edition is not screwed, and there are (as far as I can tell) no missing pages. All 750 numbered pages are accounted for (at least by spot checking).
If you grab it, be aware, as there are 750 pages of hi res images in this resource, the download size is a whopping 0.5 Gbyte!!

Thanks! Just forwarded this to our children pastor. I might swoop it up for our Jr Highers as well.
Any chance of bible indexing and reverse interlinear compatibility?
Would be an interesting Text Comparison option, too. 🤔😉

Btw, I bought this from Vryso awhile back, and tried to read it from iPad Pro 12.9 .. and...I was disappointed. The reading format was really bad. Loading took forever. Even when it was already downloaded for offline use.
So I bought the kindle version one & hardcover, and ... they were beautiful. The format was 100x better. Landscape mode is beautiful.
And I have been reading the kindle version for my kids everyday for 2 years at least, and they love it! I don't recommend buying it from Vyrso unless they fix the formatting.
If you guys like the style of Action Bible, check out Kingstone Bible Series (more like a Marvel-style animation for teens & adults, not small children) And I personally love Kingstone Bible series better. IT IS A.M.A.Z.I.N.G
Edit: Kindle is $1.99 ... GRAB IT!

I've not noticed any sluggish loading on my Samsung Galaxy for the offline version. The online version, however, is dead slow (not surprising given the size of the resource).
Also, reading/viewing the book on a phone is not such a good idea. The font size is just too small, although not entirely illegible. But on a 7 inch tablet it's really good.

I am not quite sure what you mean by "touch ability." Can you explain? FWIW - from what I understand, this resource is simply a collection of photographs rather than an actual eBook (flowing text). Elements within a photo can't be changed!Mark said:Jan Krohn said:Also, reading/viewing the book on a phone is not such a good idea. The font size is just too small
I wish this resource and others in logos would have touch ability to enlarge the font and entire resource

Yes that is correct. And hence I wish this resource were not that way...I wish it has the ability to be enlarged so we could see the pictures/words more easily.
In Logos resources, I wish there was an easier and quicker way to change the font with the touch of two fingers on the screen...

Shortly after the iPad came out, Apple had big dreams for interactive eBooks... but the additional cost caused them to not catch on.

Interactive children's books would be a dream on Logos, especially if that could include non English books.
But if even apple can manage to do it, it will probably remain a dream.

I actually like the vyrso much better. I use an iPad mini and I can double tap and zoom in anytime to read small print with zero issues. I bought the Kindle version to test that one out and it is much worse. You can't zoom in nearly as much and it does this weird highlight one block of text at a time that I found hard to exit once started. Buy this version instead or the deed tree version is my thought
