What's the 'Use Chromecast to present your slides'?
Hi,
In the latest Android Proclaim Remote update I see under what's new 'Use Chromecast to present your slides'.
This sounds great - but where to I activate this from - the remote or the main app?
I'd like to project the confidence output to a second output screen but we don't have the wiring setup to do this, so I'm wondering if it's possible somehow now - we use a Mac for presenting.
Thanks,
Andy

- Install the Google Cast extension in Chrome.
- Connect your computer to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast device.
- Next to "Present," click the Down arrow.
- From the options, select your Chromecast. Your presentation will show on your television.
Hello Andy,
You will need a few things to get this started. I have a youtube video that will help you get your chromecast up and running for your computer and your mobile device.
The cast icon will popup in the top bar of the mainView when a chromecast is nearby or on your network. After clicking it, when you enter any of your off air presentations, the slides will show up on the display.
As far as using the remote this way for confidence monitor, you would need to be following the presentation, however I dont think we cast while you are following one. Which is kinda lame, so Im gonna make a case to add that functionality.
Also, the update for the crashes you reported has been submitted to Google, so hopefully it will be live soon (if it isn't already)

Hi Jordan,
Thanks for this - a very helpful explanation - I'll have to try presenting when I'm at home with my Chromecast.
Yes - that would be great if you could enable to cast the presentation while following (or controlling) one.
And the update now seems to be working well for me in what I submitted - thanks for that. However I did just get it to crash again!
