Cannot sign into the Ebooks app
Hello, I have been unable to sign into the Ebooks app since it was upgraded. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled the app. I have also changed my password (Logos) twice. I spoke with support this morning,
and my call was dropped. I am running the Ebooks app on my IPhone 6S+, IOS 11.2.5
Can anyone offer any help?
Thanks

Hi James - and welcome to the forums
Sorry to hear you are having problems.

What message do you get when you try? Are you able to post a screenshot (use the paperclip icon) showing this?

Have you tried using the new password to log into other Faithlife sites? Are you using those credentials to log onto these forums for example?
Can you try downloading one of the other apps - such as the Bible or Verbum apps and see if you can log in successfully with those?

No, I am unable to sign into another app. It tells me "sign in failed"

And you are using the same credentials as when logging into this forum?

Personally, I utilize "keychain" (and Apple App) on my MacBook Pro & iOS devices. When on my iOS devices, I can go into the place where my username & passwords are stored to "copy & paste."0 -
Thanks for your response JT. I had already thought of that, and do utilize a program/app to store all of my passwords. When changing my password for the second time, I wrote it down, and have signed in several times to the website, but still have been unable to sign into any of the apps.

I think your only option now is to have direct communication with FL. The forums aren't a primary method for that, although sometimes a FL employee will pop in. Email is generally not good unless you have a specific employee address. For most users, the best bet is by phone. If that isnt good for you, let me know and I'll see if I can hunt someone down to contact you.

Due to the sensitive nature of passwords, you are likely going to need to call FL again. The most likely scenario is that you are mistakenly entering your username or password.
This exactly. I would strongly advise thoroughly confirming the email you are using matches the email you see on your account at www.faithlife.com under the account settings section from the avatar image in the top-right corner of the website. Go through it letter by letter making sure you're not transposing wrong. You may even want to copy from here to the password field if possible.
I also advise typing the password you want somewhere else (like Apple's Notes app), sending yourself a reset password email and copying and pasting the password into the new password field and into the ultimate password location to sign in to Logos on the app.
