Guidance in Buying a Feature Set

Since FaithLife has effectively hiked the price of the erstwhile Logos Now by 140%, I will likely buy a feature set to preserve my present level of functionality.
Having been happy with the subscription plan, I haven't paid much attention to all the different feature sets. Can someone give me some help please? What would be the best replacement for Logos Now, full or extended? Is extended basically the same as full except with some additional resources?
Any advice anyone can give me, or links to threads on similar topics, would be appreciated.

I just happened to post in another thread about some advantages of waiting for L8, and also checking out the Essential Upgrades (which may be a better deal than a feature set by itself).

Yes. If you care about things like discourse grammar, extended is a very good deal.
The feature set comparison has more specifics, as to what is included in each set.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

This seems wise, and a good way to use the Voucher... Whilst I have found Logos Now to be excellent value for Money I don't see the same in the new offerings so will likely discontinue once current subscription is up... But as this thread suggests, I will need a Feature Set - so hopefully L8 comes before then [;)]

Thanks, Petah. You're always so helpful.
The Essentials set may be the way to go. I'm hesitant to wait for L8 packages to come out; I'm wary of how much they might cost.

Actually what would be most helpful would be a chart showing what you lose in switching from Now to a static feature set.

Features in Logos Now are the same as in "Logos Cloud Feature Set" so the comparison at https://www.logos.com/compare/feature-sets?productIds=121388,120029,136012,124703 should give you what you are looking for.

Is the Logos Cloud Feature Set included in all versions of Faithlife Connect? Really getting confusing on what is included with what...even though I was rolled over from LN to the new starter model it says everything under that feature set is new to me...and doesn't look like you can outright buy that set?

It is included in all versions from Essentials up.
A limited feature set is included in Starter - but I don't know what is / isn't included in that.

I've just seen that a comparison is available at https://connect.faithlife.com/now-connect-compare

Sorry but I don't remember!
I saw it in one of the other threads discussing this.

I'm getting a good price on the Logos Essential Upgrade (M). Is that because the included Tyndale Commentaries are presently on sale? Would the price of this package go up after that sale is over?

I got the Essentials Large package because I thought it offered the best deal and value. I think this route is better than buying the feature sets because the feature sets are included in the Essentials package.

Another option for you, if you like the subscription model, would be to switch from Logos Now to Verbum Now, which is staying put and is almost identical to Logos Now.

Bumping to ask this question again. I don't want to use my coupon just yet but I'm wondering if I should if the Essential Upgrade will go up next month once Tyndale is off sale.

Sean - when I check here https://www.logos.com/compare/feature-sets it looks like the Tyndale Commentaries included are only available in a library package. So, I don't imagine they are part of any sale (but I could be wrong).

Logos Essential Upgrade (M) & Logos Essential Upgrade (L) => https://www.logos.com/product/145467/logos-7-essential-upgrade includes 20 of the 58 Tyndale Commentary volumes => Tyndale Commentaries (58 vols.)
Purchasing Tyndale Commentary volumes on sale should reduce dynamic upgrade for Essential Upgrade. Seem to remember Dynamic Upgrade price not being affected by sale prices per se since have seen some resource(s) on sale being less than Dynamic Price upgrade (so sale purchase was less expensive along with lowering Dynamic Price).
Keep Smiling [:)]
