A Continuing Pattern of Disappointment

I've spent somewhere short of $3K on Logos software over the history of my account. Maybe that's not a huge amount in terms of what some others have spent, but let me clearly say--I DON'T KNOW OF ANOTHER SOFTWARE COMPANY THAT HAS GOTTEN MORE OF MY MONEY. Over the last few years I've witnessed Logos or Faithlife become increasingly concerned with the bottom line, wrangling as much as possible from their customers. They have also introduced a steady stream of new features and options that are little more than bloatware.
After attending Camp Logos last year, I switched to Logos Now to keep up with new features. I think I've only spent $100 on Logos Now, but I'm done. Your move to FL connect is an obvious greedy move.
IF you listen to your customers you will see you are on a slippery slope with your most dedicated patrons--a dangerous place to be.

I think that if this company wants to maintain any appearance of integrity at all that it needs to do something to make this right with their customers and they better do it soon in my humble opinion.

David,
Bloatware?, Greedy Move?
You still have everything you paid for, Logos has taken nothing away, in fact most customers (they have over one million) never even subscribed to Logos Now. No one is saying you have to buy into the subscription model, I have always purchased to own for myself.
Logos is just saying in effect at 99.00 Logos Now was a failure and they are trying to fix it best as they can. For crying out loud, Bob is even giving you a coupon to help pay for the features while still giving you access to Faithlife Connect. That sounds more than fair to me.

If you like Logos Now you could vote with your "feet" by switching to Verbum Now that is (for now) not changing.
Verbum has some things that are " Catholic" but you can ignore those items.
[[note that you will have to wait until near the time your Logos Now runs out]]

You can't. On another thread FL said you can only migrate to that when your Logos Now subscription expires.

After I griped and nearly had a nice quiet seizure, I've now got to say, the coupon given to us by Logos was far more than fair. They didn't have to do that of course and I used mine before they changed their minds! :-)
Seriously though, I don't think Microsoft has done anything like that as of late & I like Microsoft. I'll give a two thumbs up to Bob for kicking that into motion. Thank you again sir for going well above and beyond when you didn't have to.

Exactly. You can switch to Verbum Now when your Logos Now subscription expires.
