Why are Logos books listed on ebooks.faithlife.com?
I noticed tonight that a lot (all?) of the Lexham Press books are also listed on the ebooks website. For example I see that even the EEC is there https://ebooks.faithlife.com/products/7565/evangelical-exegetical-commentary. This seems guaranteed to lead to confusion as this website is supposed to be basic converted epubs.

We're in the process of blurring those lines a little bit over time. By and large that distinction is still true for third-party content, but we'll likely have our own content (Lexham, Kirkdale, and some public domain) living in both places for the benefits of discoverability. We have plans to differentiate between the lightweight EPUB resources and our richly-tagged Logos editions, so people know the difference in terms of quality and feature richness. That'll probably show up as a badge and metadata on product pages and a facet in the sidebar for improved browsing.

Thanks for the explanation Phil. I'll keep my eyes pealed for those badges. It would be more fun if a badger popped out and said epub. You might consider that.

By all means blur the lines, but you also need to be very clear about what commentaries on FL eBooks are not full Logos books and will not get the same results as a full Logos commentary if you are blurring the lines. Otherwise this will be another customer relations stuff up by this company.

Definitely. The plan is to have a metadata section that outlines the kinds of markup in the resource.

If you're going to differentiate on the Faithlife eBooks site which books have Logos functionality, would it not be easier to combine the 2 sites, so we just have one store to search and indicate in that one store which books have Logos functionality.
