“Unsync” 2 iPads?

I’m thinking about joining a 2nd Bible study.  I’ve done this in the past with physical Bibles - 1 for each study.   I only bought my iPad Pro a few months ago and my iPad 2 still works fine.  Is it possible for me to load a subset of my books on the old iPad and “unsync” them so they don’t mess with what I’m doing on the iPad Pro?

You can have the software and access resources on both devices.

But, assuming they are both connected to the Internet and you are using the same Logos account on both, they will stay in sync.

What particular problem will that cause you?

Maybe it won’t cause me a problem.  If I have the same bible and commentaries open on both devices and I move to a different place on one device will the position of the text in the same book change on the other iPad?  Or is just that notes and highlighting etc (things I ”add” to the text) will be replicated?  If my places  in the same books don’t move in sync one to the other device then it shouldn't be a problem as the books would function like 2 different copies.  iBooks on the other hand sync where you are in a given book no matter what device - iPad, iPhone, MacBook- you open it on.  That’s the behavior I don’t want and why i’ve used 2 physical Bibles in the past.

If you have them both open on both devices then changing the position on one device shouldn't affect the position on the other.

If you just have them open on one device then opening them on the other should open them to the same position as on the first device.

This is how it is supposed to work but worth checking if it is still working that way!

If so, I think it should give you what you are looking for.
