Quick thoughts on Reference Scanner
I really like the new Reference Scanner in the iOS beta. Great idea and well implemented
One thing I noticed when checking it out is that it doesn’t handle references that span multiple lines.
the first screenshot below is a portion of text I scanned (apologies for the rotation) where the reference to Psalm 139:17-18 at the end of the first paragraph goes across two lines.
The Reference Scanner results just show Ps 139:17 as below:
I don’t know how easy it would be to scan across lines but it would improve accuracy rates if possible

Is there a way to save a list to a passage list
I just tried and I don't believe so. Good idea!

This reference scanner is really amazing! Regarding the question whether it can scan references that span multiple lines— it does for me! (Or maybe now it does).
But I still don’t see is how to save the reference list.
Another feature that will come in handy is if this can scan a saved photo. If this were available I can screenshot a page from a Kindle book and have Reference Scanner make me a list.
Thanks for sharing, Graham! Glad you like it. This is something we may explore in the future.
As you begin to use it, I'd love to hear about the situations where you find Reference Scanner most helpful.
I just tried it by pointing it at my Kindle Fire, the tool I use to read books that aren't in Logos or the other Bible software I use. And it failed. Has anyone else used it on text in a screen? Does it work? It's also VERY slow. Here's hoping this gets great. I want to test it with a screen shot taken on my phone too. Has anyone tried that yet?
UPDATE: I just took a screenshot of the page in the Kindle app on my iPhone and then loaded it in the Reference Scanner in Logos Mobile beta and it worked great. Faster too, but still not fast.
