A14 Resources Still Missing

Hi everyone!

Really enjoying seeing Logos 4 come together!

I am still having some problems with my resources though. Alot, and I do mean ALOT, of my resources, when I click on them to read individually, say "resource missing". My Baker commentarys are completely missing for example. Any ideas?

Could be a weird license issue, you could try calling Customer Support to make sure everything is proper on their end.

I did also notice that I keep downloading a 1gig file but never installs, just continues to keep downloading it every time I open the program.

Try canceling the download and then restarting Logos 4

In Logos4.log noticed 57 download resources marked as failed, including several Baker Exegetical resources:

Later saw Logos4.log warning for Baker Exegetical Phillipians:

2010-02-24 15:34:31.5882 1 Warn ResourceManager Resource of type logos failed to open at location /Users/GregSmith/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/f3mms549.gzw/ResourceManager/Resources/BECNT71PHP.logos4: Milestone index is missing from discovered resource

Forum thread http://community.logos.com/forums/t/10546.aspx may be helpful: e.g. quit Logos 4, deleting some DB file(s), then launch Logos 4.

Also noted lack of debug information statements - wonder about nlog.config file contents in logging folder: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6731.aspx

If resource problem persists, please post steps done (e.g. DB file deletion) and log files.

Note: while Logos4Indexer is running, Indexer.log file can be open in console utility to watch what's happening - if scroll bar at bottom, console automatically scrolls as lines written to Indexer.log file

In Console Messages, counted 12 occurrences of "previous log file removed" - often few minutes apart - curious if Logos crashing or quit being done ?.

Console Messages also has many "There are 2 rules" - looks odd - not seeing corresponding debug information in Logos4.log or Indexer.log files. Please check nlog.config file configuration - suspect Debug missing.

Apple's TextEdit can open nlog.config file in your Library/Application Support/Logos4/Logging folder.

Another option is using Apple's Terminal utility application to display nlog.config file contents:

$ cd Library/Application Support/Logos4/Logging

$ cat nlog.config

</targets>

<rules>

</rules>

</nlog>

Observation: log files in forum post http://community.logos.com/forums/t/10546.aspx had debug information - useful for suggesting follow-up actions (e.g. delete specific DB files and move old resource file).
