Offline Lookup Nice try, but…
From the LHB, offline lookup is even slower than online lookup. Also lookup from then NKJV is much, much faster than from the LHB.
In Genesis 30:29, I clicked know, and HALOT appeared in a short time—roughly comparable to online lookup. I hope it will become much faster in the release version.
Clicked the same word in LHB and waited almost five minutes for HALOT to return the wrong definition. I clicked יָדַ֔עְתָּ , but the app returned a definition of ראה , which is not even in the verse—Closest I found, in a quick look at the text, was 20 verses away in verse 9.
OK, let's try the NT—Clicked on ἀναλαβόντες in Ephesians 6:16, and waited more than 5 minutes for logos to return BDAG's entry for τέκνον.

Sounds strange - I’m getting near instant results when offline
I’d suggest removing and downloading the resources again and see if that makes a difference

Getting good results much faster now. Hard to get offline with my iPad as it has cellular capability. However, it must be offline lookup as it is much faster than online ever was.0 -

Good suggestion—and it worked.Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. I tried removing all relevant resources and re-downloading. I still get a totally frozen app EVERY time as described in this thread.

Went to Airplane Mode and tried offline lookup. As Graham observed, Hebrew results were instantaneous and correct. Ruben and Devin: Hope Logos/Verbum releases a quick fix to your problems
