Offline lookup suggestion: Allow Gloss in the Preview Pane (as in the Information Tool on the deskto
Thanks for finally implementing offline lookup, and automatic pop-up with basic info. It is much appreciated!
I think it is important for the Mobile App that you imitate the options available on the "Definition" section of the Information Pane in the desktop app. Most essential would be the option to show the "Gloss" of your top Lexicon instead of the "Brief" preview.
Ideally, one could also select which lexicon is used for the preview, although personally as long as I can show Gloss instead of Brief definition, I'm good to go.
The reason is that almost all lexicons are quite useless in the "Brief" format, whereas in the "Gloss" format they are always useful. For example, HALOT is great, and is my highest prioritized lexicon, but as a preview resource it is almost always totally useless, as the first lines are usually just etymology, bibliography, etc. It becomes useful in a preview pane / Info pane when you switch the option to show the Gloss. Same with BDAG.

I agree, showing a gloss above the preview entry is important.

I don’t mind either way on gloss as already a gloss shows up. I would like the lexicon preview to be less brief. Maybe 2 or 3 times as many chars. Since it scrolls it should not be unwieldy
