Did I miss it, because I didn't see anything in the release notes that said that the "building Library Index" on every start up is fixed like I was told it would be.

Mac Problem:
The services menu in both Word 2011 and Pages is still broken with this latest release. Clicking on "Replace with Passage" only brings up the Logos app and hangs either Word or Pages. The "Copy Bible Verses" fortunately still works for both Word and Pages.
Frankly, I'm getting tired of dealing with this every time we have an update of the Logos app. Surely someone is testing these releases on a Mac prior to going public with them?

Pastor Michael, I did reply to one of your posts on this issue. It's in the release notes (under Logos Now) as:
Startup
Fixed bug that forced resource discovery on launch for Logos Now customers. (Thread and Thread)
Are you still experiencing this behavior after updating to 6.6?

Yes, I am and I am VERY frustrated at this point. I have been promised that the last two updates would solve my problem. But all I have is the same problem and a SLOWER program!!!! Someone at Logos needs to get something fixed on this!

Thanks for the updates in this release.
Whatever caused my slow down on start up has been fixed. Even though I could still work during that first hour, now it is down to just a few minutes.

As someone who was experiencing the same issues at this point it is no longer happening. Having got past initial index for the update resources that downloaded I have now shut down and started up again a few times and preparing library is not occurring anymore every time I restart but I'd like to give it a few days before I would feel comfortable in saying it is resolved. It has been happening for what seems like forever and made using the software very unpleasant so I don't' want to be premature in calling the issue fixed for me too soon. Hopefully Pastor Michael has a good outcome with the update.

Just to clarify, have you done the following: Start the application after installing the update. Wait until all updating indicators go away (notification in the library windows is usually the one that sticks around the longest aside from indexing the library). Then exit the application. Run the application again. This should start up without the prior delay for discovering your library. If this is not the case, please post log files back to one of your many threads about this issue.

An update to the Help has been published to include the new features of version 6.6. [:)] We actually had it to correspond with the release, but ran into some difficulties getting it published.
You should get the update the next time the app checks for resource updates.

Has anyone else see this update break column mode? Auto doesn't seem to matter after you click on different panes, selecting a number gives you one less column (e.g. pick 3, get 2).

Actually just changing focus between different panes of my layout causes the column count to decrease one by one until it's just 1 column. It doesn't seem to matter what setting it's on.

It may be reverting to Auto (2) as the width won't properly support 3 or more columns?

I haven't seen this, so a screen shot of your layout would help.
Provide details of your operating system. Do you use multiple monitors?

While I have a major issue with this release. The locator bar is unusable unless i turn program scaling down to 100%, which makes everything else too small to comfortably use. is there anyway to have program scaling set to 140% so it is comfortable to read without making the location bar completely useless?

Thank you Dylan. I like the new Cited By tool.

I've notified Faithlife as bug reports may get missed in this thread.
I note a similar/same issue is reported in https://community.logos.com/forums/t/115666.aspx

Hi Dan,
Thanks for pointing this out! I've created a case to get this taken care of.

Not sure exactly when it happened, but I installed this updated yesterday (& a Microsoft update for mouse, today), & suddenly my Smart Tags aren't working again. Argh!
EDIT: Fixed it... while L4SmrtTg.dll WAS in the new 6.6.0.0056 directory, it apparently hadn't been registered or loaded. Since all the batch files to restore it depended on a Logos5/System directory, I recreated it, copied the dll to it, & they successfully got me back in business.
Grace & Peace,
Bill
