I have discovered that when I begin to select either a verse or phrase, a dialog box usually pops up with information about the first (and only) word selected thus far. I must WAIT until the data in the information box is either loaded or found (not sure which), then I can continue on to finish my selection. This is an incredible time waster!

Hi Bob, Please tap on the Menu icon (three horizontal lines in lower right) and select Settings. Then un-check the box in front of "Automatic word lookup".  Does this improve the situation for you?

I actually found that setting by clicking on the three dots. Unchecked, it now works as advertised!
