Our current plan is to release the free Logos 5 core engine in Q1 2013.

Phil, does that mean it is currently impossible for a new user to start buying resources in Logos without first purchasing a base package?

Good find, I didn't think L4 was still available for download.

I must say, I didn't mind when I thought I would be waiting a few weeks, but I'm pretty bummed that I won't be able to use Logos 5 at all until partway through my next quarter of seminary. I purchased L4 knowing full well that the Mac version had some issues, with the assurance that speed and stability were steadily increasing and that future versions of the software would always be available at no cost.

Now that a faster, more stable version is available, it doesn't feel great to be stuck using the (by comparison) crusty old snail that I maxed out my budget to purchase just a few months ago.
