I was happy to see a video tutorial on Fuzzy Searches. At https://soundfaith.com/logos-media/920533-4895874-- it said to click on Search in upper left. Select Basic and to search Everything. Using your best guess about the wording, put in the verse you are hunting for with the words you remember. Or put in key words from the verse.
I was hunting for the verse about the "besetting sin." I followed the above instructions and entered "sin that so easily besets us." The search results brought up one modern Bible, which didn't use the word "beset" and 14 articles where words such as "sin," "that" and "so" were highlighted. Some of these articles might have pointed me to the Bible verse but I had thought this was to be a rather quick search. I was surprised only one Bible was include in the search. So I changed over to Bible search (All Bible Text, All Passages, All Bible). This gave me a one line result with zero results. So I went to my free e-Sword Bible Software and easily found the verse. In KJV, the word is "beset" and not "besets."
Now that I had found the verse and had corrected this important word, I went back to Logos. Following the Fuzzy Search directions and using "beset," the search found my verse this time.
Obviously this is not how it's supposed to work. What did I do wrong?
