Today's books feel more like Vyrso specials (read Amish) than Noet books.

yes it is coming to an end but apparently they are going to offer something new. Any guesses as what it might be?

I've got no guesses, but it's brilliant customer relations. It keeps us happy and engaged in the product line, encouraging us to expand our Noet resources. I'm eager to see what's next.

Jenna's Cowboy Has A Horse Named Descartes ?
I've spend a few minutes just trying to grasp what the thesis would be for this resource. The cowboy thinks...therefore he exists? The horse exists because the cowboy thinks? Or maybe the horse doesn't really exist but the cowboy wishes it would?
Perhaps someone could help me with this. [:)]

It doesn't work that way. I think you're putting Descartes before the horse.

It's the final Freebie Friday: The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

I really love the delicious irony inherent in this month's Noet 99c offering. A while ago Logos prepubed a Bram Stoker novel about a team of crusading protagonists who combine the wisdom of Christian traditional teachings and scientific method to foil a demonic monster's plans to perpetuate the power of evil throughout the world - Logos' fundamentalist friends complain en mass and the book is pulled from prepub. This week Logos offers a book by a morally degenerate cynic about a a really evil protagonist who takes advantage of a freaky supernatural get-out to enact and enjoy every form of demonic debauchery known to mankind with total impunity right up to the final few pages and guess what - not a squeak from one of Faithlife's moral warriors. What can you say?

Maybe they're pacified by Oscar Wilde's acceptance of Catholicism before his death. Maybe. Maybe not.

My theory: They don't know the background of the book since it has never been a blockbuster movie.
