Oksy, what am I missing? All I see is the Web comic - no Friday Freebie.
The Many Faces of John Milton (P.S. It’s Freebie Friday!)
might need to refresh your cache
My Android still is having a problem, but was able to complete the transaction on my PC tablet. Thanks Kevin and Noet.

I love Fridays!
Bump
Nothing new this week?
Check out http://blog.noet.com for this week's book. As in the past, there is a 99 cent special as well.
Perfect. Thanks
Don't forget this week's free book: https://blog.noet.com/2015/08/14/happy-freebie-friday-get-biographies-of-famous-greeks-and-romans-for-free/
And this book by William James (free until 08/20): https://blog.noet.com/2015/08/13/mark-zuckerbergs-reading-the-varieties-of-religious-experience-heres-why-you-should-too/
Unfortunately I already own the Harvard Classics which is where the "freebie Friday" resources seem to be coming from, so I haven't been able to benefit. However, it's good to see others get the free resources.
Very curious. When I go to http://blog.noet.com I see last Friday's offering at the head of the stack: https://blog.noet.com/2015/08/07/its-freebie-friday-get-influential-english-essays-for-free/
But when I click on your link of course I get the proper entry. This has cost me a few freebies in the past. Noet isn't updating the main blog page correctly.
+1
A few weeks ago I was able to pick up two Loeb Classical Library volumes for $0.99. I hope there will be similar "Freebie Friday" deals in the future.

Hopefully this can be changed.
Don't forget this week's free book:
Thanks for the reminder.
I like Fridays! [:)]
I like Fridays!
Me too! [y]
This week, due to yesterday's issues, it's also Freebie Saturday!

it's also Freebie Saturday!
Hopefully this week too, since I couldn't track down the freebie this friday
I first read: "Don't get Noet "freebie friday"!"
I was wondering but then I decided to reread it more carefully [:)]

It only turned Friday a few minutes ago in Bellingham. It would be nice for those overseas if they posted it earlier though.
It's posted now, see https://blog.noet.com/ - a great classic fiction story (and the plus one as well - happy to get those!)
Classic indeed.
Both books this week seem to be a repeat as I already have them and only would have them through the Friday program
Perhaps you bought them through the Community Pricing program? I check the Noet blog every friday and I didn't have these two volumes.
Thanks FL/Noet! [:D]
I check the Noet blog every friday and I didn't have these two volumes.
Same here (unlike last week, where I owned them).
You are right. I just checked. HG Wells Collection on cp was $12

wow, you're right, I guess since I got Friday off this weekend, in my mind it felt like Saturday, sorry for the confusion.
Today's books feel more like Vyrso specials (read Amish) than Noet books.
Today's Noet Freebie is a book by René Descartes: https://blog.noet.com/2015/09/18/its-freebie-friday-get-descartes-philosophy-for-free/
Get them while you can - I think I read that this program is coming to an end.
yes it is coming to an end but apparently they are going to offer something new. Any guesses as what it might be?
I've got no guesses, but it's brilliant customer relations. It keeps us happy and engaged in the product line, encouraging us to expand our Noet resources. I'm eager to see what's next.
eel more like Vyrso specials
Jenna's Cowboy Has A Horse Named Descartes ?
Today's Noet Freebie is a book by René Descartes: https://blog.noet.com/2015/09/18/its-freebie-friday-get-descartes-philosophy-for-free/ The $.99 book has a rather expensive retail price.
I noticed that most of the Noet .99 titles have about the same price.($16 - $18).
in the majority of cases I already had these resources, but great others have been able to get access to them at a great price. Will be interesting to see what the come up with Bruce.
O
eel more like Vyrso specials Jenna's Cowboy Has A Horse Named Descartes ?
That was a week old - not from this Friday.
I've spend a few minutes just trying to grasp what the thesis would be for this resource. The cowboy thinks...therefore he exists? The horse exists because the cowboy thinks? Or maybe the horse doesn't really exist but the cowboy wishes it would?
Perhaps someone could help me with this. [:)]

It doesn't work that way. I think you're putting Descartes before the horse.
Did you really say that?! [:D]
It's the final Freebie Friday: The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde
I really love the delicious irony inherent in this month's Noet 99c offering. A while ago Logos prepubed a Bram Stoker novel about a team of crusading protagonists who combine the wisdom of Christian traditional teachings and scientific method to foil a demonic monster's plans to perpetuate the power of evil throughout the world - Logos' fundamentalist friends complain en mass and the book is pulled from prepub. This week Logos offers a book by a morally degenerate cynic about a a really evil protagonist who takes advantage of a freaky supernatural get-out to enact and enjoy every form of demonic debauchery known to mankind with total impunity right up to the final few pages and guess what - not a squeak from one of Faithlife's moral warriors. What can you say?
not a squeak from one of Faithlife's moral warriors. What can you say?
Maybe they're pacified by Oscar Wilde's acceptance of Catholicism before his death. Maybe. Maybe not.
My theory: They don't know the background of the book since it has never been a blockbuster movie.
“Morality is simply the attitude we adopt towards people we personally dislike.”
― Oscar Wilde, An Ideal Husband
