Well, we've automatically been migrated to Faithlife Connect...

I've been automatically migrated to Connect Essentials, so no free trial for that. Can I use free trials on the other tiers without losing my Essentials benefits? How many free trials can I try? What prevents me from double dipping?
Thanks, Dale Heath

You are getting a free trial of essentials, you won't be start paying for essentials until November and in the meantime you also keep Logos Now till then.

Well, I already used one of my Faithlife Connect benefits to get 6-month access to a $450 Mobile Ed course. Considering that we can get access to any two courses a year, that may be a $1500 benefit just by itself (depending on your course selection).
How did you do this? I got my email announcing Faithlife Connect and giving me my voucher for credit, but I can’t see a Mobile Ed code anywhere? They only put me on Starter so I guess I’m stuck with just one till my renewal next year, but I’d have thought codes would be sent out at the same time. Unless we don’t enter a code?

I’ll admit that I am warming to the Essentials bundle now, given the additional books (not the subscription ones) and Mobile Ed access. Given that we get plenty of time to complete two courses a year, $100 extra is basically justified to me - especially if I take it for granted that the price would have had to increase anyway.
I’ve wanted Futato’s Hebrew course for a while but couldn’t justify the full price. Now that it’s basically equivalent to $50 for me to get the use I want from it, it’s far more plausible for me.

I'm glad I just purchase everything and decided not to be a Now subscriber. This move by Logos seems ill-advised. A bit of a bait and switch.

Some Logos Now members got moved to Connect starter like I did and others got moved to Connect Essentials. There are differences between the two.
Thats why some of you are so confused about what you got. Those moved to essential got access to more features than those that were moved to starter.
I hope that this clears up some confusion.

You can go to connect.faithlife.com/get-started, scroll down to Claim Your Benefits, select your level (Starter), and click on the "Courses" tab. Copy the code, and click the button below that (Choose your courses). Select the course you want and check out like normal, pasting your code in the "code box".

Yes, that's the email. We tiered all the emails on the front and sent them to specific individuals.
So, this might explain why I did not receive an email; I'm not part of the "specific individuals"?
Also, for some very strange reason, I never received codes from last year, and am not receiving any promotional emails at all. I did what I could at my end: check spam box, make sure they're not going there; checked Yahoo's blocked addresses, made sure faithlife and logos.com domains are not there (they are not/were not) and checked Yahoo filters (again are not/were not). I checked my preference page here at faithlife, and the logos spam request [:D][:P] were/are check-marked. Called support, they suggested everything I did do, and said to Stop and re-sign up; which I did. So, we'll see. But, for some odd reason, was not/am not receiving the Logos/Faithlife/Whatever Its Called This Week wanted spam. So, I am wondering am I not part of the "specific individuals" or am I just not set to receive them at all? Any deeper than tech support solutions would be appreciated.
Thanks. And, I'll have to wait and see upon renewal, if I can afford the higher than my annual salary fee for this new thing.0 -

What if I want a free trial of something else and in the meantime also keep Logos Now till then? Dale Heath

You can only subscribe to one tier. If you have been given a 1-year subscription to FL Connect, you’d have to wait until that subscription ends. There’s no way to subscribe to one tier yet trial a second tier, because you can only have access to one tier’s benefits, not two simultaneously.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

And you still have the option of subscribing to Verbum Now, which isn't going anywhere.

I got migrated to Faithlife Connect Starter with access to one course per year. My renewal date is the beginning of September, so I jumped at a $450 mobile ed course just now so I can take full advantage of the 6 months I have access to it. I may not renew Faithlife Connect Starter in September (about 6 months away), so I might as well enjoy the full period of free course access. No need to ponder the decision. If you have a FC renewal date of late August or earlier, time is a-wastin' for this free 6-month mobile ed course access benefit, if you are not sure you will renew FC.

Are you seeing that available in the list of FLC courses? I don't see it.
I have to admit that if I could chaose form any of the courses FL has, then the Essentials subscription would seem like a no brainer. But it looks like the included/available courses are fairly limited.

According to Chris, "You'll be able to select from the entire catalog of Mobile Ed individual courses, ie not bundles or collections of courses."
Have you tried adding HB101 to the cart, then applying the FL Connect coupon code? If that doesn't work, you'll have to get FL to resolve that issue.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

I do see it. If you go with Chris' instructions from above, the available courses will be shown. I updated the search string to show 60 per page and sort them by title - HB101 is on the second of four pages - an impressive lineup.
Those who want to max out on their free FLC subscription could easily go by price - highest first. I choose NT305 (NT Theology by Doug Moo) for myself - great stuff I would never have bought it at full price - and am grateful to Faithlife to give this to me.
Have joy in the Lord!
