I was just pointing out that all aspects of the interface in Word are customizable and I think it is important as different screen sizes and interface functions such as Windows Snap makes an non-customizable interface often difficult to use (i.e. my shortcuts are completely inaccessible on a smaller snapped screen. Very frustrating!).

The 'Toolbar' as you refer to it is actually called groups
Not on the Microsoft developer site that I am familiar with but I would not be surprised if somewhere that alternative vocabulary is used. But what does this have to do with Faithlife? My point stood on its own whether or not my vocabulary was current in the most recent MS development environment. Wanting clarification makes sense but I'm feeling at bit like Alice in a rabbit hole. I have absolutely no interest in continuing

the inability of a number of posters to leave other customers' legitimate complaints alone without getting in the last word as to why their opinions are wrong. This happens in most threads of this type.
The problem being when an'others legitimate complaint' asks for something that I don't want to happen.
I think you are suggesting that I should be quiet about it rather than expressing the view that a change should not be made.
The consequence of that logic is that the few who agree get to say that nobody disagrees with them because nobody has.
I like the 'Store' button. It causes me no problem on either my desktop or my laptop. 99.9% of the time it goes unnoticed by me and 0.01% of the time it is, like many logos features, very useful.
I would not want the call for removal to go unchallenged lest the powers that be actually think that that this call for removal is universally supported.

The 9.7 beta came out and the setting seems to work. Now I can die in peace. [H]
