    Please keep it like this. The previous way was so frustrating and made navigation a chore. I switched to the mobile beta just for this feature alone. Never get rid of it please.

    I have not noticed any new touch gestures with voiceover on iphone on beta, I am guessing that voiceover was not tested and its up to us who use it to figure it out if anything changed...  it does seam slightly easier to select text, though it would be nice to have feedback when selecting or to have a text selection menu feedback or to edit the text selected... the close button is a nice addition...
