I'd like to add to this suggestion to include PowerPoint explicitly. If each PowerPoint slide could be a Sermon document slide, that would be enough. If any "notes" associated with the slide in PowerPoint could become the Text associated alongside the Slide, that would be perfect. The transitions and animations in PowerPoint are why I use it instead of the Sermon Editor to create the presentation for class, but I can live without them for archiving the lesson for later reference in Logos.
  • Umm...Yes please. I am new to Logos and still learning it but this seems to be something that shouldn't even be a question. I have been preaching for 30+ years and have many ( as in notebooks) of sermons saved as Word documents. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I understand wanting sermons "built" using the Logos word processor; but, the easier it is to utilize resources we have previously created means guys like me who are just now catching on would be more willing to give Logos a try. Just one pastors opinion. Thanks.

Coming from a guy trying to get an older pastor to use Logos, this would be big for him.
  • Most desirable addition
  • Very useful addition
  • The original Sermon file Addin that many purchased during the Libronix days worked quite well at importing our document files. It should have never been deprecated. Faithlife needs to look back to that addin for the basis of adding the functionality to the current Sermon tool

I would like to be able to import pdf files. Sometimes I find something on my favorite pastors' pages that I want to keep and my computer downloads those pages as pdf files.
  • I'd love to be able to import / paste my sermons in Markdown format.
