This product was not migrated from WordSearch. It is one of the most useful tools. I was told there are no plans to migrate it. I don't understand. The Adult Questions are a simple tool listing questions for every Bible passage. It is one of the most used items in Word Search. I've now had to redownload the whole Word Search program to get access to it. It is a simple file to migrate. This is to respectfully request you reconsider your decision.

The LESSONmaker Adult Questions (and all other LESSONmaker resources) will be coming to Logos: https://www.logos.com/wordsearch/catalog

We're not yet certain how we'll handle the functionality of building a lesson plan by copying-and-pasting questions to a document editor within the software. It may be replaced by copying resource content to Microsoft Word or any other third-party document editor.
  • Yes that would be great

@bradley-grainger I have a very strong preference for the reuse of the Sermon/Homily tool -- several people have already been using it for this purpose and it fits into Proclaim presentation tool very nicely.... add an export to Microsoft Word if necessary to satisfy all users.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Adaptation to the Sermon Starter Guide tool makes sense.

I am a long time user of Wordsearch.  Am making the change to Logos and finding several good things.  I am missing the program "Adult Lesson Maker".  I was using this program when I changed to WordSearch in 2005.
Please find a way to make this program available to Logos users.  Possibly as a stand alone if it can't be integrated into your platform.  Dr Olford described me as a 'teacher-preacher".  Lesson Maker is a great tool both for preaching and teaching.  Helps to guide your focus.

I currently user Sermon Builder and Sermon Manager for both sermons and lessons. I hope there is a way to move those lessons from Sermon Builder and Sermon Manager to Lesson Maker and a Lesson Manger tool for planning and scheduling. Maybe with a view that shows all lessons and sermons on the same grid and radial calendar.
  • I need to have Lesson Maker. I do a lot of teaching and the Lesson Maker speeds up preparation remarkably.

Word Search had a feature called "Lesson Maker". It allows users to select different verses or chapters etc to create an inductive list of questions that can be used for an inductive study. I purchased WordSearch specifically for this feature and now I don't have something I paid for within Logos after the merger. I must say I have never heard of someone paying for something and not getting it or having it taken away. PLEASE FIND A WAY TO GET THIS FEATURE WITHIN LOGOS ASAP!!! I PAID FOR IT!!!
  • You posted this eight months ago the catalog says available for pre-order when is actually going to be available?

Lesson Maker is an AWESOME program and would be a wonderful addition to Logos! Right now I have to go to WordSearch to use it.
  • May I please get the first lesson sheet of Adult questions for Matthew 6?

I used these in WORDSearch and would appreciate them in Logos!
  • I would love to see lessonmaker setup in the same format that Wordsearchbible had it in.
  • It should have been brought over from the start. I wish I could go back to WordSreach until the bugs are clear from the migration. This might have been planned but it was poorly done my Library that I had built in WordSreach for 15 years did not migrate over. Why????

@Bradley Grainger  That link is dead. The LESSONmaker modules are showing as "in production'. Will they actually be released at some point?

@Bob Allen  They should already be in the libraries of all WORDsearch users: https://ref.ly/logosres/ws-0-347

@Bradley Grainger  I used WordSearch, but probably a free version. When I clicked the link in your message, it opened a preview version of the LESSONmaker Questions book in the online app and I got a message that I don't have a license to view the book. When I click on the link to Logos.com that's in the top text, it goes to a dead link . There's also a link in the online app preview that will take me to the Questions preview in the desktop app. Clicking on "Add to cart" in the Logos app adds the Pre-publication version. All five modules (Outlines, Introductions, Adult Questions, Youth Meetings, and Youth Meetings Index) show as "pre-publication". I'm quite willing to pay for at least the three adult-targeted pieces and probably the Youth pieces as well. It's been so long, however, that I wonder if Logos is really working on them and if they'll ever be released. I asked their online chat expert and he knew nothing about LESSONmaker.
