Please bring the Copy Bible Verses feature from desktop to mobile. We need more control over how Bible text gets copied.

  • I wholeheartedly agree! Copying verses using the handles that iOS provides is clumsy and prone to mistakes. I also have to manually type in the reference and format it the way I like it. Being able to use the copy Bible verses tool that we have on the desktop would make lesson prep so much easier when I have to use my iPad. Thanks!
  • Formatted verse copy would be a great tool to use when I’m on my tablet!
  • Yes! Very cumbersome & tedious. Works much better in Mac version and PocketBible.
  • Please!

I’ve noticed to copy / paste on mobile, the standard method of the operating system has been utilized. (Drag to select then select copy and paste) when it pastes into other applications, the text is many times filled with spaces which I have to go and fix every time. This is enough reason for me to use another application altogether since I utilize copy / paste a lot. Other applications such as Tecarta and blue letter Bible which have far less features than logos have Implemented their own system of copy / paste which works much better. Blue letter Bible allows you to copy a verse and then “append” many other verses and then copy them all as a whole instead of going back and forth. Tecarta allows you to simply tap on a verse and then tap on other verses to add to the selection. Both of them paste appropriately. I don’t have to go in and fix spacing, etc. Am I missing something? Is there a special way of copy / pasting on the mobile app that is easier and works better. I’m sure the desktop version does but I’m specifically referring to the mobile version. Thanks.
  • Agree with all … I hope developers recognize the movement away from desktop preparation to mobile app.
  • This is one of the biggest missing features on Logos Mobile for me. I really enjoy using my iPad for reading commentaries and making highlights/notes. However, the lack of a convenient way to copy/paste passages into the app where I write my sermons (Ulysses) forces me to use my MacBook. Please make it possible to type in a reference (or list of references) and copy/paste verses. I would love control over formatting (since I’m writing in Markdown), but simply choosing from 2-3 formatting options wouldbe way better than what we currently have.
  • How is this still not getting any traction?  Tonight I stopped at a restaurant to grab a snack and do some Bible study on my iPad.  After battling just to copy some passages into my notes document, I gave up, went home and opened Logos on my Windows machine.  iOS is simply not capable of doing serious work, such as research and writing.  The copy verses tool would allow us to get around this terrible limitation of iOS.  Until this is added, the iOS app isn't very useful to me.  The web app was slightly better, but again, I was on my iPad.  It's clear to see why Apple doesn't promote the iPad Pro as a replacement for the Macbook Air.
  • I vote for this too. And I hope that it would have a shortcut like the mac version.

This would save a lot of reformatting time!

  • Copy bible verses would be useful in both the web app and mobile apps. I often jump through hoops to do this on the go,  away from the Win desktop

Agree.  I use the iPad almost exclusively now and frequently have to convert verse numbers to superscript, etc.  Please make it work well with at least Apple Pages and MS Word.  Also, please include the option to copy footnotes, etc. as in the Mac version for both Pages and Word.

The desktop Copy Bible Verse has always been excellent. I have to use a different mobile app for copying Bible verses, which is inferior to Logos Desktop’s Copy Bible Verse feature. This would put it more in line with the great way mobile has matured.
