It'd be great to share upcoming sermons or collaborate with other people, staff members, etc.

Make a way to export / share from sermon Manager. I have a preaching team, and it would be great to use this instead of the excel file we currently use...unfortunately, this won't let me collaborate...

Agreed - also the ability to export a sermon series (or a time interval) as a PDF/Excel file for broader sharing beyond those using Logos.
  • I whole-heartedly agree
  • I would love to see this as well.

Agreed, this would be an excellent feature that we would use all the time. Right now we have have to use multiple pieces of software to do this.

Obviously exporting would be good, but for me, it would be extremely helpful to have a page I can send people to. I would love to have a way for the team to simply view what I put into the sermon manager. I don't need them to have access to change things, just to view it. This would allow me to update my sermon/series information without redoing an excel spreadsheet every week.

@sansom48  Already have a suggestion about it. Support this suggestion: https://feedback.logos.com/boards/faithlife-sermons/posts/share-an-entire-calendar-with-your-sermons-in-sermon-manager-to-a-group

@Anderson JF Abreu  This suggestion is kind of rolled together with this one. In fact, when you comment here, I get a notification that someone commented on my idea. However, my comment was mainly to not lose focus on the very specific need that I have and what I am looking for. I need something that is more than just an export to an excel sheet.

@sansom48  Maybe I didn't express myself well, because my English is bad. Or I didn't understand your idea correctly. But at first I think your idea is similar to mine. The idea is to be able to share an entire calendar so a team can see their plan. For example, the music team or pastoral team, to know what the next sermon in the series will be. It's not that?

@sansom48  The idea is to be able to share an entire sermon calendar at the same time and also show it in the Radial Calendar, without having to share each sermon individually.

  • This is a massive need for pastors who have a group of people working on a yearly reading plan. We are developing 52 sermons, questions for our small groups, and engagement questions for our families geared for different age groups. To be able to share the sermon calendar + sermon manager would be great. Could we add a place to insert notes like questions we want to share in the sermon sidebar?

  • I love Sermon Manager and I very much want to be able to collaborate with our worship personnel through this tool. As it is, I'm still maintaining a spreadsheet and Planning Center and Sermon Manager. Cal Newport argues in "A World Without Email" for the value of a shared space where relevant personnel know to go to retrieve information rather than emailing and messaging that gets lost in an inbox that contains messages about everything under the sun.

I've for at least the spreadsheet part. I actually did this with my sermons before Sermon Builder was released. The ability to export my sermons to a more accessible format is also good for my peace of mind about lock-in (granted, not a selling point to Faithlife)

It would be great to have sermon manager shareable between a team so that there could be a common preaching schedule for our team. Right now we use other software to manage our shared schedule which means we have to copy information from the other program to logos (despite the whole team using logos)
  • Absolutely! It would be great to get this happening asap, please!

It would be so fantastic to have sort of a 'shared calendar' feature in the Sermon Manager. So I could create a sermon manager group for my church and share it with the whole staff. This was we could all see upcoming series plans and everyone could work in the sermon documents I have created in the planning process.

This seems like an essential feature for anyone with a teaching team at their church.
