With all due respect , the category "Patristics" is an artificial category contrived consequent of Protestant Confirmation Bias. They were all Catholic according to their beliefs and writings. Please. Augustine is a Catholic and Church Doctor. Check his Mom St. Monica and his Conversion. "Modern Catholic"? Another Construct, but from Protestantised Catholics. John 17.
