Make Print Library Feature Available Standalone or in Lower Packages

I absolutely love the idea of the Print Library Catalogue feature, yet none of the packages including it are within my price range. Providing an upgrade option like the Preaching Suite would be phenomenal for those that want this feature, but cannot drop the $300+

After upgrading to L10, I was disappointed to find that it requires Gold level or higher to have access. I am a lay teacher and the Bronze level is perfect for what I do and the cost of higher levels is prohibitive. However, I have many print books that I would love to be able to search from within L10. Just because your not a pastor, academician or higher level user, it doesn't mean that this functionality would not be extremely useful. There should at a minimum, but a way to pay a smaller fee to add a need function without adding an entire level. Just like adding individual books.

I have platinum, but I agree with this.  Linking features to library levels seems to go against Logos' business model.  Strange that you're doing this.  It's not like there are certain library resources required for this feature.

The lack of this feature at L9-Bronze is one reason I've not upgraded to L10.

    SUGGESTION for Print library

On October 13, 2022 Logos advertised that those who buy the new Logos 10 platform starting at $850, could freely add their add their PRINT books to Logos by simply scanning in the barcodes on their print books:
"Print Library Catalog. Scan the barcode of your print books to add them to your Logos library as searchable resources."

I have no need to buy Logos 10 for $850, as there are no books in that package that I am interested in.

I do have a number of print books that I would like to add to my Logos library (for convenience), but I will never buy them from Logos as the Logos prices are sky high, and I already have them in print.

As a suggestion, perhaps Logos can offer electronic editions of the books we already have in print, for say 80% off the Logos price. I imagine that Logos would sell tens of thousands of books that they would not otherwise sell at all. Very few people would buy a print book, and then purchase the same electronic book at such high prices. I would think that 80% off the digital books we already have in print, would make tons of money for Logos.

Here is CROSSWAY'S policy: "With every purchase of an eligible print book, receive the ebook for free".
I have bought a number of print books from Crossway because they are cheaper than Logos e-books. PLUS, Crossway gives away the free ebook!!

Logos could have a similar policy: "For 80% off, scan the barcode of your print books to add them to your Logos library as searchable resources".

    Thank you,
    J

When you buy a vehicle you select feature packages that have the most features that you want.  But you have the option of adding other single features to the package to customize the vehicle the way you want it.  Logos should be the same way.  I could upgrade from Bronze to Gold to get the one feature I want, but I would be paying hundreds of dollars for features that I would never use.  Or I can stay at Bronze, that has everything I need and pay $50 to add the Print Library feature only.  Seems like a no-brainer.

Needs to be available to all. Giving hype to something only a small number can use is more than misleading; it’s dishonest. If you don’t want to give to all, just charge a reasonable price like a book so those not having Gold can obtain it.

I was very surprised when Logos 10 was released that the Print Library feature was not included in the academic feature update. These academic feature sets have been great ways of accessing features that benefit rigorous study, while remaining more affordable than a full upgrade or getting many new features that will not be used. I just don't see why Faithlife decided that the Print Library feature wouldn't be helpful for the market for the academic upgrade.
