It would be awesome to be able to remove or add cities, rivers, paths and key locations. Add titles or notes. I love the maps, but often find they don’t have the info I want if I want to use them as a slide. I’d also love to be able to measure distances between two points!

Agreed! My thought is that Logos starts with a blank geographical map and has checkboxes for locations you want added to the map. In this way it could be customized for each class or sermon.

If I am studying, say, Genesis, and want to locate a place, the atlas takes me right there.

    Fine.

But what I think is really relevant and helpful would be to see where this place sits compared to other common familiar places. If I choose a map from a later Biblical time, that first place may not show up or show up easily.

I need an option where after I locate the place, I can add layers of other sites, either by era or by importance.

    thank you

Agreed! Blank maps with optional layers e.g., mountains, altars, cities by time period, kingdom boundaries, etc.

This would be a tremendous help to teachers who want to focus their students on specific locations for a particular lesson, without having a lot of other locations on a map that is displayed through a projector or used as a handout.
