Allow custom points of interest in the atlas

I often want to show where cities or regions are that are not included in one of the standard points of interest in a given Atlas data set. And sometimes I want to remove distracting points of interest that overlap or obscure the ones I want to highlight. Allowing the user to selectively hide points of interest and add custom ones would be helpful.
