Most of the time when Logos updates (library or software) it gives the option to restart however, there are times where it requires a closing out of the program and then starting it again via the user. It would be helpful just to have the option in the help menu to restart.

Do you expect this to be greyed out when no restart is needed or do you expect it to always be available?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

@mjespuiva-86 I think that it should always be available since sometimes there can be some bugs upon startup. Even when you get new stuff from the website, there is sometimes a call for the restart, but it is all user-initiated.

I imagine it could work like this: On the top right you have the blue notification circle. You click it and now it tells you "An update for your library is available" and that with a restart it will be implemented. The word "restart" could be the link to initiate the restart. Would be a simple thing.
