Add scripture reference to copied verses

I often send scriptures via text and usually copy and paste them. It’s frustrating that there is a huge citation that comes along with the passage but the scripture reference is nowhere to be seen. It would be really nice if the reference was at the end of the copied verse and the citation either wasn’t there or if it needs to be there can stay where it is with a space in between it and the verse.

I agree with this big time! But for what it is worth I have found that if I turn off the copy citations button on the desktop, then when I copy and paste a verse, it does just show the reference.

Does the Copy Bible Verse tool not work for your desired outcome? You can customize the output and I have one that include the Reference in a format I like and does not include footnotes, citations, etc. - Just the Scripture and its Reference
See below - just copied and then I pasted it into the Comment
