Change generic highlight icons

When a user creates a highlight, it's given a bland, gray icon that's used in the Notes panel highlights pulldown list and in the notes list. It's impossible to know what these highlights are at a glance and it forces the user to scroll down the pulldown list to find which one is checked. If you're like me with a bunch of added highlights, this quickly becomes a distractiona and a pain.
Please allow the user to choose a default icon for the highlight or change the Notes panel highlight pull-down list to show the name of the highlight selected.
