BUG: Why are Biblical events "messed up" in Logos/Verbum Factbook?

Because of a long-standing bug that keeps Biblical events in the deuterocanonicals from showing properly, I have resorted to Factbook where I can force them to show — or could until the Factbook TOC stopped being consistent.

Issues include:

  1. BUG: The event creation ex nihilo is systematic theology not an event and has no scripture reference for the event; The material world, New Jerusalem, the Spiritual world are similarly problematic.
  2. BUG: In the Factbook TOC Cain kills Abel appears twice differentiated only by capitalization.
  3. INACCURATE: creation ex nihilo is taught in the Maccabees not Genesis - you have confused the common Christian interpretation with what the text actually says. I truly hate it when Logos interprets for me.
  4. PROCESS ERROR: You have, without any announcement or warning, broken the agreement on Biblical events between the Biblical Event Navigator and Factbook - nicely screwing up the data and process for an ongoing project. This is exacerbated by the initial BUG of using systematic theology as a Biblical event.
  5. BUG: MISSING IN ACTION - the story of the Three Guardsmen (1 Esdras 3:1-5:6) appears to be missing except for the first 4 verses which appear as a meal event. Note this story is famous for being "lost" when the Catholic Bible changed from 1 Esdras to Ezra.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
