Bible Search Improvements

I think the way the search tool works is way too specific to really be useful. (I am referencing the "Search All Bible Text in All Passages for" tool.)

For one very important thing, I would much appreciate if case sensitivity were removed when searching for text. It's frustrating when "feed my sheep" or "if ye love me" returns zero results, for example.

A second specific thing is that it bugs out when I try to edit a mistype in the search box. When I delete a character in my search line, the caret then teleports back to the end of the text. So when I try to type a new one, it's putting it in the wrong place every time, unless I am only deleting the last character. I have to click again to put the caret back where it was when I deleted something. It shouldn't be easier to backspace and retype the whole thing than it is to delete and replace one character or word to fix a mistake.

Generally, it would be exceedingly helpful if the search tool could produce something similar to the search results I get when I am punching in the verse fragments my mind is producing into Google. Especially with Logos leaning into the AI featuresets, I would think this is actually quite doable.

Thanks for listening to my first-century, first-world whining.

There is a toggle switch for whether or not you want to match on case.

Are you on the desktop? Mac or PC? I can't duplicate your cursor behavior. However, I tend to select the text I wish to replace and type over it rather than doing a separate delete as I did to test your problem.
