How to undo word and phrase highlightings

Years ago… at least 5 or 6… I used highlighters to index and highlight every time that word or words appeared in my Bible(s)… I cannot remember and trace back to the steps I took so I can undo the highlights… sometimes it has highlighted more than what I intended… For example, it highlighted “wordS” instead of “the Word” I am enclosing a few screen shots…

Thank you in advance for your help…

Your highlights look a lot like Visual Filters to me (i.e. rules that say "highlight every instance of XYZ"), so you might want to look in the Visual Filters menu

(if you are not a subscriber, this will be the menu icon with the three dots forming a triangle in the panel menu)

    Hi there @Ed Fernandez ,

Highlights get saved as notes in your notebook. What you could do is to open your notebook and then expand the filters. Under the filters you should see an option for "Highlights." Click on this and it will show you all the highlights you've made in your Bible(s). Simply find the highlight you'd like to remove and delete the note. Please see the screenshot at the bottom.

You could, alternatively, hide all highlights and notes by navigating to the "Notes" panel in your Bible view and then turning off the toggle for "Show notes and highlights."

    Hope this helped.
