Adding Japanese Bible Translations to Logos Bible

While I understand that the Japanese-speaking user base might be relatively small, I would be grateful if you could consider adding Japanese Bible translations to Logos Bible. Specifically, these important Japanese versions would be valuable additions:
- Kyodoyaku (Common Translation/共同訳)
- Shinkaiyaku (New Reformed Translation/新改訳)
- Shinkaiyaku 2017 (New Reformed Translation 2017/新改訳2017)
- Living Bible Japanese (リビング・バイブル)
Although the number of Japanese users might be limited, these translations would be particularly beneficial for:
- Bible scholars residing in Japan
- Students studying the Bible in Japanese
- Missionaries working in Japan
- Those conducting multilingual Bible comparison studies
I'm aware that some other Bible apps already offer Japanese translations, and I understand that implementing these versions might require significant resources. However, I would greatly appreciate if this could be considered as a long-term possibility for the platform's development.

It's already in production.
Shinkaiyaku Japanese Bible (2003) | Logos Bible Software
Speaking of limited target group, there are a few massive target groups who don't have a Bible translation, such as Tagalog (85 million Christian speakers), Indonesian (30 million), Swahili (25 million), Romanian (11 million), Amharic (10 million)

Thank you for letting me know. I was also aware of this, and it appears this Japanese Bible will be available soon. I pre-ordered it 4 years ago, and it seems it will be released on 2/14.
However, this is an older version, and many churches in Japan are currently using the 2017 version. Additionally, given the characteristics of Japanese Bibles, furigana (hiragana readings) should be placed above the kanji characters, but this isn't visible in the preview. It seems the main issue is that there are too few Japanese language users on the platform.

Yep. Also, somewhere along the line, Logos got tangled up with the Japanese Bible Society (don't know exact name). Libronix had a Japanese interlinear, but Logos was unable to keep selling it. And so, maybe a 15-20 year hiatus of Japanese Bible support (even if dated).

I understand. Accordance Bible already offers three Japanese Bible translations, so I was curious why Logos Bible didn't have any. It seems this is the first time they're offering one, and I hope they continue to add more translations.

Actually, they used to have a Japanese reverse interlinear. So no, it's not the 'first time' … it's more a long story.

I guess it would be good to have access to this RI Bible again. Logos, what do you mean?

We are aware of the desire for the 2017 version. We are actively working on that as well, but at this time I don't have any further information to share.
