Searching Notes and Highlights Text

Hello! How does one search for words within the hi-lighted text within a notebook? The search bar/tab seem only to return words in the note portion. Alternatively, is there a way to export the notes and highlights that preserves their text location and contents? The ways I have tried so far, cutting and pasting, or using the print commands seem either to lose or jumble the information. Is it possible to view notes in the power lookup window?

    You have this in the suggestions forum but you appear to be asking a question. Are you asking if it is possible to search the anchor text for a note? Not directly but there are a couple of potential workarounds based on highlighting the entire anchor text. Unfortunately, I don't have time to test them today but I'll try to remember to come back and try them.

    Thanks! It’s both a question and a suggestion. I think the notes module is in need of an update. I have tried exporting the notes as a work around, but the export code leaves out page numbers or any links back to the original source. It appears the information is in the database, but is not accessible via the user interface.
